How companies can help their staff
and help our schools
Companies and organizations have the opportunity to benefit themselves, their employees and the community with the School Dictionary Program.
Participants can purchase 20 or more copies of the dictionary to be donated to the school(s) of their choice. Dictionaries for donation will cost only NAfl 60 instead of NAfl 80 -- a 25% discount. The donated dictionaries will be delivered to any school in the ABC Islands chosen by the company, along with a letter notifying the school of the gift and the donor. Jong Bonaire will also publicize the donation via local media.
Organizations that participate in the School Dictionary Program, are eligible to buy additional copies of the dictionary for office use at a discount from the retail price. Price will depend on quantity ordered.
Those who wish to participate in the School Donation Program should make contact vial e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org and provide their name, their company and contact information. Someone will get back to them to complete the transaction.
The goal is to get this dictionary into the hands of as many young Antilleans as possible so that they can learn to read and write English more easily. English is becoming more important today because of business relationships, tourism, contact with the Windward Islands and more interaction with the European Union, which uses English as its working language. Jong Bonaire, the after-school program for teens on Bonaire, will also benefit from each sale of the dictionary.
